### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_LICENSE\_PATH

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_PRESET\_PATH

if set, Optical Flares will look up user preferences, textures and presets in this directory

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_PREFERENCE\_PATH

if set, Optical Flares will look up user preferences in this directory

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_PATH

if the license or preset/texture/preference paths are not set, Optical Flares will fall back to this directory

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_CUSTOM\_LAYER\_PATH

You can define another path that holds glass texture elements for convenience reasons.

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_VERBOSE\_CONSOLE

If set to true, optical flares will prompt useful debug output to the console. The plugin will remain silent otherwise, output is only generated in case of critical errors such as licensing.

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_NO\_GPU

If set to true, optical flares will be forced to render in CPU mode, no matter what the UI configuration says.

### OPTICAL\_FLARES\_DISPLAY\_NAME

By default, Optical Flares uses :0 but your Linux XServer may be running in a different one. Once you know the DISPLAY value you're running, you can set an env variable for Optical Flares to whatever that value is. To find your DISPLAY var, you can enter this variable:

**echo $DISPLAY**
