Installing VCP Model Packs
Step by Step Installation Instructions
Download the PC or Mac Element installer from the Download Section.
Once downloaded, unzip the file and double click the installer to start the installation process.
Read the instructions and then click "Next" to continue.
Click "I accept" to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Click "Next" to continue the installation of the model pack.
It will now begin the installation and should only take a few seconds.
Your model pack is now installed. Click "Finish" to close the window.
Error Code: 109
This may have to do with the location that you chose for the Element 3D assets when you installed Element 3D such as an external hard-drive or on a network server.
What you would need to do is run the Element 3D installer again and then choose a local location on the same hard-drive that you are using to run the installers. Then after you do this run the pack installer(s) which should install them onto your machine.
If you still need to have them on the original location you would need to run the Element 3D installer again, choose the original location, and then manually move the pack assets over to the new location.
Alternate 3D Formats
To use the models in another 3d application, you will have to download the Alternate 3D Formats download which will have obj files among other formats that you will be able to access.
